BloomReach heavily uses open source software and profits from the many types of contributions that people make to the developer community. It helps every individual to create a better, scalable and reliable CMS.
BloomReach has released hundreds of thousands of lines of code under open source licenses like Apache Software License 2.0 for others to use.
BloomReach believes that a healthy ecosystem is important for the sustainability of open source for all. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.
BloomReach CMS open source code is primarily hosted in our git repository. The source code is organised in a number of projects with their JIRA key (for issue tracking) and source code URL.
How to contribute
Everyone has read access to the source code of the community edition of BloomReach CMS. However, not everyone can change the code in the community edition. This page describes the different roles and procedures in place for contributing source code to BloomReach CMS.
A strong community
With many employees being active members of the Apache Software Foundation, BloomReach’s roots are in open source software. We like to pay it forward and are looking to add value in a way that is useful to the developer community. An active and helpful community make it a pleasure to work on open source projects with BloomReach.
